Do you live in a big city with lights and pollution and never see the stars or planets?
Then an Astronomy Night at Acacia is just for you!
See the moons of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, mysterious Mars and the craters of our very own Moon. See double stars, star clusters and nebulae.
Let Nigel guide you on a tour of the cosmos with a computerised 4” Celestron telescope. There is no set fee – just make an anonymous donation in the “Saturn tin” for what you think the experience was worth. Most people are happy with a show of 45 minutes to an hour.
Held on demand at Acacia from mid March to mid October, shows of course are weather dependent – and what objects you can see depends on where they are in the sky at the time.
And remember, the crisp clear nights that are best for viewing are cold!
